In this episode, we chat about rebranding from freelance to a business brand name, how Meg streamlined her services to grow the business, and delivering results in a few key areas. We also went through Meg’s marketing mix to chat about how she does things differently to suit her business.
Meg is an experienced graphic and web designer who’s spent two decades serving small business, corporate, and nonprofit clients. After freelancing for most of her career, she went full-time as a design consultant when she and her husband John moved to Colorado Springs in 2016. Ready to make a bigger impact and expand her client base, Meg launched Due West Design as a boutique branding and web design studio in fall 2020.
She holds a master’s degree in Communication from the College of Charleston and has been selected multiple times as a winner in the American Web Design Awards and Inhouse Design Awards by Graphic Design USA Magazine and The Creative Group. She holds a Charleston Digital Corridor CODEcamp certification for WordPress and became a Squarespace Circle member in 2018. She also facilitates a monthly designer meet-up in the Being Boss Community.
Meg holds a Colorado state record for powerlifting and loves to hike and explore the mountains and Southwest region as much as possible in her time off.
